What is Young Person’s Counselling?
One-to-One counselling provides a confidential space for you to talk things over.
How long will I have to come to counselling?
There is no set number of sessions. Sometimes one session can be enough but it will depend on your personal needs. This is for you and your counsellor to discuss.
Will anyone find out about what I say?
The meetings between you are your counsellor are confidentail. This means that they stay private between you and your counsellor unless your counsellor is worried about your safety or someone else’s. If your counsellor was worried about this then they will talk to you about this first.
Where will we meet?
Our aim is to provide an accessible service that meets the needs of the young person. We are happy to meet young people in their local area if preferred.
