Diploma in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Diploma course is designed for those who wish to develop their skills in a therapeutic context. This course will be delivered in a supportive learning environment for those wishing to return to learning, advance skills in the field or prepare for a career change. The course runs part time over 2 years.

Entry Requirements
To apply for entry to the diploma, students will be required to have undertaken the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills (SCQF Level 8) or equivalent. If applicants do not have this qualification but believe that they have the equivalent or a higher relevant qualification, they will be invited to highlight and evidence this. This will then be submitted to the academic board for approval.

Study Outline
The course will run on: Fridays 6.00pm-9.00pm, Saturday 9.30am-8.00pm and on Sunday 9.30am-7.30pm.

Our students will acquire the direct practice with clients upon their placement within the GCA. All students must complete 100 hours of clinically supervised professional practice during the course.

How much will it cost?
Cost of course: £6800 (£3400 per year) Monthly payment options are available. Some small grants may be available to help towards the cost of the programme, you may also apply for more than one year.
A payment plan is available and can be discussed with the course administrator.

Where does the training take place?
We have a purpose built training room at our Main Office, 14 North Claremont Street, Glasgow.

When does the course run?
The course will commence in September 2019. Specific dates will be confirmed.

(Registration/ enrollment for this course will be in late August/ early September. Early enrollment is advisable as these courses are extremely popular.
